La Ferme de Florent is a traditional 18th century French farmhouse which has been recently renovated and newly furnished into a Ski Chalet.  Under an hours drive from Geneva and perfectly situated at the foot of the ski slopes in the charming village of Chinaillon, it is owned and run as a catered french ski chalet by Catherine Leeson and Keith Dowson. 

Our aim is to ensure you have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday by providing comfortable and relaxing surroundings and plenty of excellent home cooked food.  We use local, seasonal produce to provide breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meal and are happy to discuss the weeks menu with you beforehand if you book the whole chalet. Please let us know of any specific requirements e.g. vegetarian meals when you book.

Chinaillon is within the Grand Bornand ski area and has is 90km of skiing ranging from cruising greens to one of the steepest blacks in Europe.  Most of the pistes are very wide and there is plenty of off piste.  Included in the Aravis ski pass are La Clusaz and St Jean de Sixt ski areas with 120km and 5km of piste within easy reach should you want more variety. For those who don't wish to ski or board there are cross country ski routes and local cafes and shops to visit.  There is a weekly market in le Grand Bornand and a cinema in Chinaillon.  Alternatively you may like to visit to Annecy, 40 mins or Lyons, 2 hours for a more relaxing form of exercise!
