We have both spent many years working in IT and Financial Services  for many familiar blue chip companies. In 2003  we decided to take some time out to enjoy life, on the basis that neither of us had had a gap year and it was long overdue!  After several months skiing in New Zealand and Canada, where we both qualified as ski instructors, we decided to try and make a living doing what we loved, in a place we could settle.  Having skied in many countries we decided on France and Chinaillon because of its beautiful scenery, proximity to Geneva, friendly locals and access to so much skiing.

We spent many weekends in 2004 traveling to France to find the right  property, Chinaillon is not a big place so this wasn't easy. However, when we visited our Ferme we knew it was the place, even though it needed an extreme make over. We have spent many hours with our architect ensuring that the chalet offers all the comfort and facilities we would want on our holidays and are now happy to be able to open for the 2005/2006 ski season.
