| The
chalet is a 18th
century ferme
(farmhouse), which
has been painstakingly
restored by a
team of builders
managed by a local
architect. This has
involved completely
dismantling the
building, treating the
wood and
then re-building it.
The interior is
completely new for the
2005/6 ski season
providing 5 double/
twin rooms and one 4
bed family room.
Each of the 6 bedrooms is designed to
provide maximum
comfort with an en
suite bath or shower
room, and a flat
screen television
should you want some
down time. The top
floor of the chalet is
open plan and provides
a lounge, dining area and reading area
(44ft x 30ft max) with
a central open fire
and all the original
beams. This
means that you get the
traditional relaxing chalet
feel and plenty of
warmth after a day of
fresh air and exercise
The ground floor of
the chalet houses the
ski/ board and boot
room as well as a
games room. A map
showing the chalet lay
out is set out
below. If you
book as a group we
will leave you
to allocate the rooms
as you wish, otherwise
please let us know if
there is a particular
room you would like
and we will do our
best to accommodate
you. Please note that the chalet is mainly non-smoking, smoking is allowed in the games room only.
